Civil Engineer

WSP Canada is seeking an experienced Professional Civil Engineer to join our Land Development and Municipal Engineering group in Whitehorse, Yukon. This position will be responsible for working on municipal projects with a focus on public clients involving water and wastewater systems, storm water management, municipal roads, and land development.

What You Can Expect to Do Here:- Preliminary and detailed design of civil works for water supply and wastewater systems, watermain, storm and sanitary sewers including linear works, valves, chambers, and pump stations.
- Construction services including site field reviews/reporting and construction contract administration.
- Client management.
- Proposal development.
- Other duties as assigned.
- An undergraduate degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience with a mix of design, project management, and construction experience.
- Professional Engineer or eligibility for registration with Engineers Yukon is required.
- Experience in production of construction contract documents and contract administration.
- Previous success in client management and proposal/report writing.
- Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
