About This Role

As an Industrial Construction Project Manager Assistant, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating construction projects by assisting in the project management and coordination of schedules, customer relations, engineering, and procurement. You will direct, coordinate, and exercise functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering and construction requirements within the scope of a specified project.

Your primary responsibility will be to carry out detailed constructability reviews to develop the project schedule, manpower, and procurement requirements. You will plan and implement an engineering and construction program, including defining the project plan, activities, milestones, and manpower requirements.

You will provide status reports of project milestones and adjustments to schedules, as well as coordinate preparation and delivery of project deliverables, design documents, as-built drawings, turnover documents, etc. You will review company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications to ensure project compliance.

In this role, you will also evaluate and recommend design changes, specifications, and drawing releases. You will interface with customers to provide project status reports and ensure customer needs are met. You will provide status and progress reports to customers, project teams, and management.

The ideal candidate will have a University Degree or College Diploma, preferably in Engineering, with 0-3 years' experience in industrial construction. They will have advanced skills using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Project, excellent analytical and organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
