Job Title: Crew Leader

TDI Land Restoration is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crew Leader to oversee our projects in Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct all aspects of TDI Land Restoration operations in compliance with contract plans and specifications.
  • Project quality control on installation and service projects, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Communicate with clients and customers regarding project completion, design specifications, and changes in layout and plan drawings.
  • Supervise and direct materials orders and receipts, prepare and submit weekly operations reports.
  • Meet with clients and Operations Manager throughout each project and after-sale service to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Organize all safety components as directed by the MOL, document all activities, and ensure any problems are rectified.
  • Complete and submit daily record keeping, including journals, material sheets, time and attendance.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and implement the laser system, establishing rough grades, monitoring and controlling adherence to established grades.
  • Complete and submit weekly expense reports and report directly to management on all aspects of project timing and update projected completion indications before project wrap-up.
  • Responsible for ensuring timely project completion targets are met on a routine basis.
  • Ensure all staff is respectful and courteous to trades and subs, while also ensuring TDI Land Restoration is projecting a first-rate professional image.
  • Complete TDI Land Restoration crew equipment maintenance on-site and submit regular equipment maintenance reports.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on leader with experience in landscaping construction and maintenance, athletic field construction and maintenance, or a related field.
  • Clean driving record and vehicle.
  • Must legally be able to work in Canada.
  • Daily travel to and from job sites.
  • Machine experience is a benefit.

Ideal candidates will be hands-on leaders with knowledge of landscaping construction, athletic fields, trails, parks, and golf courses.
