Cost Control Analyst Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Control Analyst to support our Critical Infrastructure team at Parsons Corporation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed budgets for assigned projects.
  • Prepare and analyze cost reports to identify variances and propose corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with budget owners and project management teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Identify and mitigate potential cost overruns and improve savings through effective cost control measures.
  • Support the Commercial/Claims team in providing actual and forecasted costs for project extensions.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and update the risks and opportunities register as needed.
  • Prepare and submit reports to JV partners and the Executive Committee.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project controls, preferably in complex design/construction heavy civil projects.
  • Proficiency in Project Controls Software, Microsoft Office Suite, and JDE/Primavera (P6).
