We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Specialist to join our team at RITZ CABINETS LTD. In this role, you will be responsible for operating woodworking machines, preparing custom-made cabinet specifications, and shaping surfaces or edges of wood workpieces.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
  • Prepare specifications of custom-made cabinets that maximize storage.
  • Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces using hand tools such as planes, chisels, or wood files.
  • Instruct apprentices in various woodworking techniques.
  • Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made.
  • Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints.
  • Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in woodworking or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling capacity.
  • Able to travel to the job location using own transportation.
Estimated Salary

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
