As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our safety team, ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation regulations, and developing and implementing safety programs to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with department managers to develop and implement training programs to ensure employees are aware of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of safety incidents, injuries, and near-misses.
  • Develop and implement fuel conservation programs to reduce fuel waste and optimize fuel efficiency.
  • Perform miscellaneous project work as directed by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as safety management, risk management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in safety management, risk management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
