We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at First Student Shared Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our school buses.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on school buses to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with buses and equipment.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Valid driver's license and S and/or T license.
- Experience with vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to participate in ASE certification program.
