Job Description

This is a senior level role within the Scotia Global Asset Management (SGAM) team, responsible for compensation expense oversight and governance. The successful candidate will be a key partner in supporting SGAM within Global Wealth Management.

The role is accountable for providing excellent service and resolving customer problems promptly and professionally. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining internal reporting on investment products and providing insightful analysis to business leaders and executives.
  • Supporting business line leaders with regular and ad-hoc reporting requirements.
  • Preparing quarterly business line updates and full-year forecasts.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, strategic problem-solving abilities, and advanced knowledge of financial accounting and generally accepted accounting principles. A university undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce or other related field, along with minimum 5 years in an accounting/analysis function, is required.
