The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide therapeutic, diagnostic, technical and teaching respiratory therapy services to patients.

About the Role

  • Provide therapeutic, diagnostic, technical and teaching respiratory therapy services to patients.

  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

  • Monitor and record patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and adjusting treatment plans as needed.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.

Requirements

  • At least one year of previous related experience is preferred.

  • Experience in the management of neonatal and pediatric critical care is also preferred.

  • An entry-to-practice academic credential in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited Canadian program or a MARRT approved equivalent is required.

  • Certification in Child and Women's Health Program - NRP is required, and certification in PALS is preferred.

  • Current registration with the MARRT is required, and current registration/membership in the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) is preferred.

  • Able to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential.

  • Must be able to work cooperatively with other disciplines and demonstrate professional judgment and initiative.
