Job Summary:
We are hiring a Retail Sales Associate for our store in Pembroke. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of sales and customer satisfaction, and ensuring a safe and secure shopping environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
- Restock merchandise, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure compliance with health and safety policies and guidelines.
- Follow loss prevention best practices and ensure compliance with all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Requirements:
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work with diverse customer base.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

While performing the duties of this job, you can expect to:
- Stand and/or walk.
- Bend, twist, and squat.
- Lift and/or move up to 18 kg (40 lbs.).
- Perform tasks involving firm grasping.

- Reach above shoulder height and below waist level.
- Operate equipment, including using a ladder.
Working Conditions:
A typical part-time schedule will be a mix of days, evenings, and weekends, up to 24 hours weekly.
