Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and physically fit individual to assist our experienced roofers in installing and repairing various types of roofing systems. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow with our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install Single-Ply Roofing Systems: Install single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions.
  • Apply Waterproof Coatings: Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level.
  • Install and Repair Metal Roofs: Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
  • Install Sheet Metal Flashings: Install sheet metal flashings to ensure a watertight seal.
  • Operate Hoisting and Lifting Equipment: Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move materials and tools safely and efficiently.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, often at heights, and in various locations. They will be required to work outdoors, in noisy and potentially hazardous conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Physical Demands: The successful candidate must be physically fit and able to handle heavy loads, work at heights, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral communication, reliability, and a team player attitude are essential for this role.
