About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Trades Helper to join our team at CNT Construction. LTD. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials with precision and care.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet project specifications.
  • Assist the medical examiner in charge with tasks as required.
  • Participate in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Pave and rake asphalt to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings, following established procedures.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, prioritizing safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, ensuring a clean and safe workspace.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, maintaining a safe and efficient flow of traffic.
Work Environment

As a Construction Trades Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure, handling heavy loads and performing repetitive tasks. Your manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination will be essential in this role.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a hardworking attitude.
