Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at Inland Technologies Canada Incorporated.

Key Responsibilities:
  • FOLLOW ESTABLISHED GUIDELINES for equipment operation in close proximity to airfield personnel, aircraft, and other airfield equipment without interfering with aircraft movement.
  • PROMPTLY COLLECT spent ADF avoiding the risk of fluid escape.
  • OPERATE AND MAINTAIN testing equipment properly.
  • MONITOR glycol processing equipment units to assure optimum production and efficiency.
  • PERFORM quality assurance sampling of all production processes at regular intervals during shifts.
Requirements:
  • MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD.
  • HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT.
  • SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF ALL CLASSROOM AND ON-THE-JOB TRAINING.
  • INTERMEDIATE COMPUTER SKILLS WITH WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF MICROSOFT OFFICE PROGRAMS INCLUDING OUTLOOK, WORD, EXCEL, AND POWERPOINT.
  • ABILITY TO READ, WRITE, SPEAK, AND COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY IN ENGLISH.

Work Environment:
  • OFFICE ENVIRONMENT WITH POTENTIAL FOR REMAINING SEATED EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME.
  • WAREHOUSE - PHYSICALLY STRENUOUS, PROLONGED PERIODS OF TIME STANDING WITH EXPOSURE TO NOISE (MAY BE EXCESSIVE AT TIMES), SAFE BUT POTENTIALLY UNPLEASANT ODORS, VARYING TEMPERATURES AND HUMIDITY, IN AND AROUND HEAVY MOVING EQUIPMENT.
  • OUTDOOR - PROLONGED PERIODS OF TIME STANDING WITH EXPOSURE TO PREVAILING WEATHER, DUST, DIRT, FUEL, FUMES, AND NOISE, IN OR AROUND HEAVY EQUIPMENT AND MOVING VEHICLES.
Salary:

$18.00 per hour.
