About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at Caring People Healthcare Inc. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with medication administration and management.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Assist with pet care and other household tasks.
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 5 years or more of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including newcomers, refugees, and Indigenous peoples.
  • Knowledge of cultural competency and diversity training.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, including French.
