Job Description

The Quality Lead will oversee the site-wide consumer safety and quality program implementation, ensuring compliance with HACCP processes, Unilever Corporate policies, and Supply Chain Nutrition initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the quality department in managing site-wide quality performance, focusing on Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost, Delivery, and Morale.
  • Establish and deliver quality systems for the site, including coaching and recommending promotional opportunities for team members.
  • Closely manage deviations and incidents, inspecting and recommending dispositions.
  • Support innovations and quality training for the factory, as well as the installation of new laboratory equipment.
  • Participate in a WCM Pillar, driving loss reduction and completing all required testing, inspection, and analysis of raw materials, packaging materials, compounding batches, and finished goods.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on quality programs and processes, providing technical information and feedback related to product inquiries or complaints.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, etc.) preferred.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a manufacturing operation, with a strong technical skill set.
  • Ability to utilize WCM or other problem-solving methodologies to determine root cause and deploy a systematic approach.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage projects and project teams from inception to completion.
