We are seeking a highly skilled Scala Developer to join our team at the Client of Acumenz. As a Scala Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software applications using Scala and AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality Scala applications using Cats, Zio, and Akka frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain robust and scalable AWS-based systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Provide on-call support and troubleshooting for production issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Scala and AWS technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in JVM-based application development.
  • Experience with Scala frameworks such as Cats, Zio, and Akka.
  • 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-quality applications.
  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience with AWS Cloud environments.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Scala backend API development experience.
