About the Job

This is a permanent position, requiring 30-44 hours of work per week. As a Childcare Provider, you will be working with children aged [insert age range] and must have experience caring for multiple-aged groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Caring for infants and children, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and putting them to bed;
  • Assisting with light housekeeping and cleaning duties;
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals;
  • Taking children to and from school and to appointments;
  • Supervising and engaging in activities such as games and outings;
  • Helping children with homework;
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home;
  • Keeping records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • Experience caring for children, preferably in a home-based setting;
  • First Aid Certification;
  • A strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A patient and caring attitude towards children;
  • Reliability and flexibility in scheduling.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a non-smoking, scent-free environment. You will be required to travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
