Senior Medical Writer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Writer to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Senior Medical Writer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical and scientific writing services to our clients. This is a remote role working from Canada on the EST timezone.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality medical and scientific documents, including clinical study reports, study protocols, and summaries of data from clinical studies.
- Collaborate with internal and external clients to ensure effective and efficient communication.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on document preparation, software use, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with quality processes and requirements for assigned documents.
- Develop best practices, methods, and techniques for achieving optimal results.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent.
- Relevant formal academic or vocational qualification.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Previous experience in regulatory writing, preferably in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry.
- Experience working within FSPs is an advantage.
- Additional qualifications in medical writing are beneficial.
