Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide a range of services to a community mental health and addictions population, including screening, triage, assessment, treatment, and case coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide program consultation and coordination, evaluation of clinical interventions, and supervision of students in formal clinical practicum.
  • Develop and maintain community mental health and addiction treatment programs, ensuring nursing practice standards are maintained.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and other agencies in the community to provide comprehensive care.
  • Provide professional and public education regarding mental health and addiction issues and resources.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved school of psychiatric nursing or general nursing with recognized training in psychiatric nursing.
  • Minimum of 2 years recent recognized Mental Health & Addiction experience.
  • Registered/eligible with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of SK and the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
  • Valid driver's license and basic computer/keyboarding skills.
