Accounting Clerk

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at Chevron. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
About the Role- This is a permanent position, offering a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
- The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial software and systems.
- You will work closely with our accounting team to ensure seamless financial operations, and participate in training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare tax returns, including GST/HST and corporate income tax.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in audits and provide information as required.
- Assist in implementing new financial systems and procedures.
