Job Description:
The Intern, Mechanical - Field will be responsible for collaborating with the Mechanical Field leadership to ensure railcar inspection maintenance and repair is performed safely and efficiently. This includes supporting online failure investigation and follow-up, assisting in response to dangerous good incidents and leaks in yards, contributing to ensuring that Performance Monitoring Reporting Compliance (PMRC) targets, expectations, and objectives are met, and analyzing car inspection and repair productivity using CN's data.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, BCom, Computer Science, or Construction Management
  • Knowledge of Systems, Applications and Products (SAP), Query Designer, ARIBA or equivalent*
