Job Description:

We are seeking a Residential Care Worker to join our team at WRHA Community Health Services. In this role, you will provide client and facility support, working closely with our Women's Services Leadership Team to deliver excellent care and services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within an inter-disciplinary team
  • An understanding of, and sensitivity to, working with culturally diverse populations
  • Knowledge of the addictions field
  • Fluency in English (ability to communicate in aboriginal languages, including Ojibwe and Cree, as well as French is considered an asset)
  • Knowledge of Indigenous customs, traditions, and beliefs will be considered an asset

Physical Requirements:

This role requires suitable physical health to perform required duties, as well as availability for shift work.
