We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant at Growing Kids Childcare Centre Ltd. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our experienced early childhood educators to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 0-12 years.



Key Responsibilities


  • Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs for children, including activities, meals, and rest periods
  • Supervise and engage with children during activities, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
  • Maintain a clean and organized learning environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues, providing updates on children's progress and well-being
  • Support the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills through play-based learning
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the educational team to plan and implement programs that meet the diverse needs of children


Requirements


  • Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a childcare setting, preferably in an assistant educator role
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Reliability, trustworthiness, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and education for children
