We are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Engineer to lead our transportation projects. As a Senior Structural Bridge Engineer, you will be responsible for managing projects, providing design solutions, and directing a team of engineers.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Manage engineering assignments and act as project manager.
- Attend site visits to gather pre-design information, conduct construction reviews, and evaluate post-construction outcomes.
- Coordinate work with clients and other disciplines, including highway/road, electrical, drainage, and environmental planning.
- Analyze and evaluate design solutions for transportation structures, such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and foundations.
- Provide direction to project team members and support staff through verbal and written instructions.
- Direct CAD teams for drawing preparation and review deliverables before submission to the client.
- Conduct business development activities to secure new projects through client liaison and proposal preparation.
- Prepare and review technical reports, tender documents, and cost estimates.
- Provide tender evaluations and/or construction engineering services.
- Work within assigned project budgets and schedules.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff concerning project work.
