Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator Senior Engineer to join our team at Rodan Energy Solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate and chair meetings with project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  2. Guide and direct discussions with internal staff, contractors, and suppliers to achieve project goals.
  3. Meet with consultants and contractors to influence them to adopt more suitable methods and procedures.
  4. Participate in programs to dispose of surplus equipment and prepare project assessment reports.
  5. Coordinate the preparation of project control schedules, cost estimates, and project performance specifications.
  6. Arrange for necessary approvals, licenses, and permits, and negotiate with agencies as required.
  7. Coordinate the clarification of design and specification requirements and arrange for necessary changes.
  8. Coordinate and monitor the preparation of specifications, requisitions, evaluation of tenders, purchasing recommendations, and contract administration.
  9. Arrange meetings to coordinate requirements and progress between design, suppliers, construction, and operations.
  10. Maintain close liaison with field construction and operation on matters involving design, schedules, costing, and other related issues.
  11. Initiate, coordinate, arrange, and control supporting services by other departments and external organizations.
  12. Provide immediate and higher management with appropriate reports on work progress.
  13. Review detailed cost variance reports, provide explanations and recommendations for over- or under-expenditures, and take corrective actions when required.
  14. Execute other project management functions as required by corporate policies and procedures.
  15. Provide work direction to staff assigned to assist in the preceding duties.
Qualifications

EDUCATION: Four-year university education in an appropriate field.

EXPERIENCE: Experience in a supervisory role to coordinate staff effort related to design and development activities for major generating station facilities.

Requires experience in project management, with a period of over 10 years and up to and including 12 years considered necessary to gain this experience.
