Key Responsibilities:
- Support stress in-service repair activities, ensuring the integrity and safety of aircraft structures.
- Perform various stress analyses on repairs, including static strength, fatigue/durability, damage tolerance, and finite element modeling on multi-platform aircraft programs.
- Prepare comprehensive stress reports and analysis for compliance purposes, highlighting design solutions and repair trade studies.
- Carry out stress calculations to assess design solutions and repair trade studies, providing clear and concise recommendations.
- Review repair engineering drawings and participate actively in the development of in-service solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide clear visibility to management of the status and emerging issues related to supported repair activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- Minimum eight years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry, with a strong background in aircraft structural substantiation analysis.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of structural damage tolerance analysis, with proficiency in Patran/Nastran, Nasgro, and CATIA V5.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Confident, knowledgeable, and energetic individual with excellent communication and listening skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and good engineering judgment.
