About the Role

The Good Spirit School Division No. 204 is seeking a reliable and skilled Caretaker to join our team. As a Caretaker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and attractiveness of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general care, upkeep, and maintenance of the school plant, grounds, and equipment.
  • Operate and check building mechanical systems.
  • Perform minor repairs and janitorial duties as required.
  • Assist with snow removal, floor refinishing, and upkeep of the school and grounds.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or Caretaker Coordinator.
Requirements
  • Minimum Grade 10 Education or equivalent.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certification.
  • Level 1 Occupational Health and Safety.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
