Job Title: Mobile Heavy Duty Mechanic

Velocity Truck Centres Canada is seeking a skilled Mobile Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. As a Mobile Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing OEM class 6, 7, and 8 vehicles in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate service truck in remote or customer worksites
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose faults using computerized diagnostic and testing devices
  • Repair and maintain vehicles to a high standard of quality and craftsmanship
  • Implement workflow procedures and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Strong aptitude for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance with a minimum of 3 years' experience
  • Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Duty Technician or Commercial Transport (Truck and Transport Mechanic)
  • Heavy Truck and Trailer subject matter expert
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, detailed, and process-driven environment
  • Class 5 driver's license
  • Class 1, Class 3, and MVI Certifications are a bonus
