Job Title: Automotive Journeyman Technician

AutoCanada is seeking a skilled Automotive Journeyman Technician to join our team at Hyatt Infiniti in Calgary, AB. As a key member of our Service Center, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the highest level of vehicle repair and maintenance.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance work with efficiency and accuracy, adhering to dealership and OEM standards.
  • Communicate effectively with Parts and Service Advisors to manage production, cycle times, and customer communication.
  • Conduct multi-point inspections to make recommendations for repairs, ensuring the safety and reliability of vehicles.
  • Document all work performed on vehicle ROs, creating a detailed story in accordance with OEM standards.
  • Maintain an inventory of common automotive technician tools and stay up-to-date with factory technical bulletins and training classes.
  • Provide an exceptional repair experience to drive customer loyalty and department revenue.
Requirements:
  • A provincially recognized Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate, completed or in process.
  • Red Seal Certification is considered an asset.
  • Completion of a related post-secondary program and/or training courses.
  • Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment and work individually and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic, with a valid driver's license and safe driving history.
