Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Operational Excellence team. In this role, you'll be responsible for initiating and driving execution on projects related to standardizing best practices, reducing costs, and increasing overall efficiencies within our fast-paced, high-growth food manufacturing environment.

As part of our OpEx team, you'll work on multiple projects across operations, including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality. You'll collect and analyze data using a structured methodology (DMAIC) to implement sustainable improvements in all aspects of Operations.

You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support planning and execution of key continuous improvement projects under the guidance of our OpEx Team Leader. Your primary responsibilities will include creating an environment that fosters continuous improvement and lean manufacturing, leading training sessions for multiple teams, supporting troubleshooting, and ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements
  • Completed Post-Secondary Education in Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field;
  • 1+ year experience in a Continuous Improvement role in manufacturing or supply chain (co-op experience is considered);
  • Certifications in Lean Six Sigma is an asset;
  • Prior work experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset;
  • Must possess excellent analytical skills;
  • Must have demonstrated ability to interact with others and is adept at leading and motivating a team;
  • Flexible to work different work schedules when needed;
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are required;
  • Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
  • Must be flexible, high energy and passionate in getting things done;
  • Valid driver's license.
