Job Summary

J.A.Z. Stucco & Contracting LTD. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Planning Officer to join our team. As a Planning Officer, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, delegating work to office support staff, and establishing work priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the team, including reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, and ensuring procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Office Management: Co-ordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve administrative issues, and implement solutions to improve office efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
