Manufacturing Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our team at nVent. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth production of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Production Scheduling: Establish daily production schedules for assigned products, taking into account lead times and inventory levels to meet planned requirements.
- Order Management: Create, review, and release orders in a timely manner, ensuring accurate records and inventory balances.
- Customer Communication: Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally, communicating schedule revisions as necessary.
- Part Planning: Plan all parts individually to meet business needs, developing and implementing part planning with shop operations to optimize production.
- Inventory Management: Review item forecasts versus actual demand patterns, making adjustments to maintain inventory levels and identifying excess and obsolete inventory for corrective action.
- Cycle Count Accuracy: Ensure accurate cycle counts to maintain inventory integrity.
- Education: College Diploma in Supply Chain Management – Enterprise Resource Planning is a must.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Experience in Microsoft and SAP is an asset.
