About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Freight Operations Coordinator to join our team at ITN Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate shipping quotations for customers and agents, as well as maintaining current information in Cargo Wise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate shipping quotations for customers and agents in a timely manner.
  • Prepare monthly and semi-monthly updates for customers as required.
  • Follow up with customers, and agents, negotiate rates, and close deals.
  • Contact existing or new customers daily as per KPI. Build and maintain the relationship with customers.
  • Assist sales and operations team with information on current rates.
  • Maintain current information in Cargo Wise up to date.
  • Other admin. functions for the dept. as required.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of freight operation, documentation, products, operations, security, and equipment.
  • Understanding of freight tariffs, rates, and freight quotes received from carriers and other logistics provided.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work under pressure, consistently meeting deadlines.
