Job Summary

The Dirty Apron Cooking School & Delicatessen Inc. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the culinary operations of our kitchen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Direct and supervise a team of food preparation staff to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
    • Provide guidance and training to staff on food preparation, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Work with the culinary team to plan and execute menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure optimal inventory management.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food meets our high standards.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
    • Permanent position with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
    • Work language: English.
