Job Overview

At ASPECT Structural Engineers, we are committed to delivering innovative and sustainable structural engineering solutions. As a Fabrication Design Technician, you will play a key role in our team, working closely with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance throughout the fabrication process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop precise fabrication models and shop drawing packages using architectural and structural designs.
  • Utilize strong CAD skills in 2D and 3D, including various export processes and set-up.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to incorporate desired parameters for fabrication, shipping, and installation.
  • Attend meetings as directed by the Project Manager.
  • Contribute to the team's technical knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced individual with a solid understanding of mass timber construction practices and experience working with Revit model and drawing production. Familiarity with BIM360 and Tekla Structures is also beneficial. Additionally, hands-on experience with on-site Mass Timber installation or fabrication is essential.
