About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cable Television Installation Technician to join our team at HAPPY DHALIWAL LOGISTIC LTD. as a key member of our telecommunications team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.
  • Equipment Testing: Test equipment to locate transmission faults, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Network Setup: Install trunking systems, circuits, and equipment, configuring networks for maximum efficiency.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Complete and maintain test and service reports, providing detailed records of work completed.
  • Troubleshooting: Determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble, taking corrective action to resolve issues.
  • Physical Demands: Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures, ensuring safe and efficient work practices.
  • Customer Service: Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Work Assignment: Determine work assignments, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and ensure project success.
  • Internet Setup: Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access, configuring networks for optimal performance.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems, ensuring continuous service and minimal downtime.
  • Equipment Repair: Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers, restoring service quickly and efficiently.
  • Equipment Replacement: Repair or replace defective telephone equipment, ensuring seamless service continuity.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and excellent customer service.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of telecommunications equipment and network installation.
  • Work Schedule: On-the-road job with a regular schedule of 35 hours per week.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication, with a strong focus on clear and concise communication.
