Premier Tech Growers and Consumers is seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team at our Richer, Manitoba facility. As a key member of our operations and quality assurance team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the excellence and consistency of our products, contributing directly to the success and reputation of our industry-leading facility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide quality assurance and quality control services to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Prepare samples for the quality control process and participate in various training and continuous improvement projects.
- Review quality findings and validate the conformity of production, contributing insights and actively participating in implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Drive the enhancement of quality control processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness, effectively managing instances involving non-compliant raw materials and product discrepancies.
- Assist in team member education to ensure understanding of all procedures and visit different sites and peat moss bogs to ensure quality standards are met.
- Experience in quality control and a background in scientific and analytic roles.
- Experience in horticulture or agriculture is an asset, as is good communication skills and comfort in a manufacturing environment.
- Team spirit and bilingualism in French and English are also highly valued.
