Part-Time Opportunity

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Activity Aide Part-Time to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes.

As an Activity Aide, you will have the opportunity to bring joy and fun to our residents by assisting with the facilitation of different activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and implementing individual and group activities in collaboration with the Manager.
  • Preparing for activities and helping residents to the activity areas.
  • Assisting residents during activities and reporting any significant changes to the Manager and nursing staff as appropriate.
  • Maintaining program records according to department policy.
  • Working with other departments to meet resident needs.

The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary diploma or degree in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, or a related field, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills and knowledge of and/or experience in working with the senior population.
