Job Summary

Canamex-Carbra Transportation Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate a straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles) to transport goods and materials across various routes.
  • Logistics: Manage cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license.
  • Communication Systems: Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment.
  • Transportation/Travel Experience: International, long-haul, national, and provincial/territorial experience.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Physically demanding work environment.
  • Workload: Large workload with overtime required.
  • Physical Demands: Handling heavy loads, sitting, and repetitive tasks.
