Occupational Therapist for MVA and Psychotherapy Trauma Program

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at FunctionAbility Rehabilitation Services. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals recover from traumatic and acquired neurological injuries, as well as severe orthopedic injuries.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat individuals with various neurological, orthopedic disorders, mental health, and injuries
- Assist clients in establishing and meeting meaningful goals within their home and community setting
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on occupational analysis and clinical reasoning
- Liaise with community partners and rehab professionals to facilitate client goals and independence
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training sessions and establishing personal networks
- University Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
- Valid Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle
- Minimum of 1 year of general OT mental health experience
- Completion of at least one of the following courses: CBT, ACT, DBT
