Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to join our team at Nexus Systems Group Inc. in the role of Senior Product Designer Lead. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and user-friendly products that meet the needs of our customers.

About the Role:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including visual designers, accessibility experts, quality testers, web, iOS, and Android developers, to craft thoughtful design solutions that exceed customer expectations.
  • Define and implement design system details, including component specifications, behaviors, accessibility criteria, and use case guidelines, to ensure consistency and scalability across our product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to facilitate design contributions in demos and answer inquiries from the design and development community through Office Hours.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with designers from diverse locations, including Canada, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru, to foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer, with a proven track record of delivering successful design projects.
  • Expert knowledge of responsive web, iOS, and Android design patterns, as well as extensive experience with Figma for prototyping, animations, and interactions.
  • Strong understanding of industry-standard design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, and proficiency in HTML/CSS.
  • Familiarity with Confluence and Jira, and ability to apply WCAG guidelines to design.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Previous experience with design systems and industry prototyping tools.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and agile principles.
  • Ability to communicate complex design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, User Experience Design, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
