* Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including meal preparation, portioning, and presentation.* Ensure that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed.* Train and develop the skills of kitchen staff, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.* Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to deliver exceptional dishes.* Collaborate with our management team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.* Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer complaints and concerns.* Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, using this data to inform our business decisions.* Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.* Establish work schedules, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently throughout each shift.* **Requirements**
* 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or as a chef de partie.* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.* Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.* Physically demanding role, requiring prolonged standing, lifting, and bending.* Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, remaining flexible and responsive to the needs of the business.* Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.* Work Hours: 30 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.* Language: English (required).
