Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health and substance use challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' functional capacity, occupational performance, and environmental supports to inform treatment plans.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address clients' goals and needs, including group and individual interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective service delivery.
- Provide education and training to clients, families, and healthcare professionals on occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
- Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC.
- Two years' recent experience working in a community mental health and/or substance use setting.
- Valid B.C. Class V Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business purposes.
