About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Collection Engineer to join our Data Collection team at Sanctuary AI. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing data collection efforts that focus on the end-to-end user experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop data collection efforts that anticipate potential failure modes, edge cases, and anomalies
  • Design, implement, and test data pipelines using Python
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to collect, validate, and process large data sets
  • Build and support a secure, extensive, scalable, repeatable, and high-performing data collection platform
  • Analyze collected data and show how it contributes to model performance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields
  • ~3+ years experience in a Data Platform Engineer, DataOps, or equivalent role
  • Knowledge of professional engineering practices for the full product life cycle
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and test in a fast-paced environment
