Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious On-Call Bus Driver to join our team at School District #48 (Sea to Sky). As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and safely transport students to and from school under the direction of the Transportation & Grounds Supervisor and with the general direction of the Director of Operations.
  • Ensure the highest level of safety and security for students during transportation.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and respectful relationship with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and efficient transportation experience.
Requirements
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a bus endorsement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing circumstances.
