About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our Junior team as an Early Literacy Intervention Educator. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students requiring support with literacy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Intervention strategies and be able to work collaboratively with teachers to implement effective support plans.

The Early Literacy Intervention Educator is responsible for:

  • Providing targeted support to students identified as needing additional literacy intervention.
  • Working closely with classroom teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress to inform instruction.
  • Communicating regularly with parents and carers to keep them informed of student progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current VIT registration.
  • A strong understanding of literacy intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
