Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Rocket Logistics Incorporated is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials across the country.

Job Summary:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Operate and maintain a tractor-trailer in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Valid passport.
  • Driver's validity license check.
  • Driving record check (abstract).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • International driving experience.
  • Long-haul driving experience.
  • National driving experience.
  • Provincial/territorial driving experience.
