About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Tax Staff Accountant to join our US/Canada Cross Border team, specializing in US tax compliance and advisory. The successful candidate will have a strong background in US tax and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare complex US tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and individuals
  • Review and prepare simple US tax returns
  • Conduct special tax projects and research
  • Establish and maintain effective client relationships
  • Communicate with tax authorities and assist with government notice responses
Requirements
  • University degree or College diploma in Accounting
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience in a public accounting firm
  • CPA, CA / U.S. CPA designation or U.S. enrolled agent, or close to completion
  • Experience in personal or corporate US tax required
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Excel
