We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lighting Artist to join our team and contribute to the creation of stunning visual effects for our upcoming projects.
Job Summary:
The Senior Lighting Artist will be responsible for designing and implementing lighting for characters and environments in assigned shots, ensuring that the final product meets and enhances the given art direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement lighting for characters and environments in assigned shots
- Collaborate with supervisors and peers to exchange information relevant to the show or sequences
- Develop solutions and techniques that meet art/technical direction
- Ensure that assigned shots fit the continuity of the sequence
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Katana, Maya, Linux, UNIX and scripting ability in relevant languages
- Knowledge of Arnold shading, volume rendering and raytracing experience preferred
- Knowledge of relevant compositing software including Nuke is preferred
- Minimum requirement of 3+ years production experience or feature film experience preferred

We offer a competitive salary range of $45.34 to $65.10/hr, as well as benefits including healthcare, tuition reimbursement, RRSP's, Sick and Vacation leave, and standard increases as applicable.
