Job Title: Automotive Shop Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our repair shop. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising workers and projects, as well as coordinating and scheduling activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure efficient and effective repair services
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet customer needs and deadlines
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge
  • Estimate costs and materials for repairs
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed in the workplace
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Flexibility, judgement, and team player skills
  • Experience an asset
